Lily Lang, a college student and sorority member of the Southeastern Conference (SEC), has recently become the target of unfounded accusations and significant Twitter trolling by anonymous accounts.
These accounts, collectively known as the "Burnerverse," are run by past and present fraternity members who have been sharing memes and rumors about Lang, suggesting that she has cheated on her boyfriend with multiple men from different colleges or is promiscuous.
The trolling began with a post made by the X account @popdatpussyfoAC (Arthur Cacciatore), an anonymous profile that claims to be a Sigma Nu member from 2008. In his bio, Cacciatore describes himself as a "racist," "divorced," "addict" who works in pharmaceutical sales and sports investments.

Many replies to his post noted that Cacciatore had previously revealed he is around 40 years old and still lives with his mother, yet he continued to spread unsubstantiated rumors about a college student nearly half his age.
The memes targeting Lily Lang quickly spread among the anonymous SEC "Burnerverse" accounts, likening her to other women who went viral in the past year, such as the Oilers Girl and the Hawk Tuah Girl.
Unlike these women, who somewhat willingly put themselves in the spotlight, Lang was forced to make her accounts private to avoid harassment, but the memes have continued to spread to other platforms, including TikTok.
